Spokane Soaring Membership Costs
Joining the Spokane Soaring Society is your gateway to the skies above the Inland Northwest. Whether you’re based in Spokane, Coeur d’Alene, or anywhere in the region, membership gives you access to our aircraft, expert instruction, a welcoming community of pilots, and everything you need to pursue the sport of soaring.
Initiation (one-time)

Sailplane Rental
Get in the air with access to our club aircraft at competitive rates. An unlimited season rental is also available for members who want to fly as often as possible.

Tow Charges
All glider flights begin with an aerotow behind our Piper Pawnee. Tow altitude is your choice — here’s what to expect:
| Minimum Charge (up to 1000′) | $35 (+$2 per 100′ above 1000′) |
| 2000′ Tow | $55 |
| 3000′ Tow | $75 |
| Tow to Mountains | $15 extra |
| Land Out Retrieve | $150 per hour |
